Description: The art piece by Aurelio Lebrato is a tribute to the Mayas. The artist used local stones, earth and natural pigmentation. The stones were arranged on a Mayan mound, around the entrance of the tomb. Some stones were painted depicting figures of animals, while others were carved with symbols representing vegetation and other natural elements. The art piece is interactive and symbolic. It is representative of the earth, the heavens and the underworld. Visitors can also make offerings of their own.
